The location is sorta hidden so look closely. Delicious gluten free and vegan options available. They also have a small store with gluten free items for sale. Very friendly. The prices are comparable to other restaurants nearby. I wish they had a kids menu or options for kids portions as adult portions seem to large to finish. They offer many options of bubble tea and Taiwanese cuisine. Delivery and to go service provided

I just LOVE these mom & pop and hole in the wall places. You go in and place an order. After you pay, get a seat (inside or outside). They'll bring your food over. It's a small place with a covered outside area that looks more like a very narrow alley. Nothing impressive on the outside but the food is Amazing! Our pokes were delicious and fresh! Even the rice was delicious! I am definitely going to be back! I got a green hot tea when I checked in on Yelp. I have to say that it's the best green tea I've ever had.

Yum! Ruffage is super convenient, since it's so close to our Airbnb. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant isn't very big but there was plenty of seating available when we visited. The cashier was friendly. There is no server here. We tried their Organic Açaí Sorbet Bowl and Garlic Butter Shrimp Plate, both were delicious! The Açaí Sorbet Bowl had fresh fruits in it and the açaí sorbet was refreshing and very clean tasting. The Shrimp Plate had juicy pieces of shrimp with a flavorful garlic/butter sauce. It had a slight kick of spice in it too. Their portions are generous. The rice was good quality and the salad on the side was fresh. I'm so glad we checked this place out! If you're in the area and looking for a no frills place with good eats, Ruffage has you covered.

I ordered beef noodle soup and pork and chive dumplings. A+ rating for both dishes. The quality of ingredients and careful preparation really stand out here. At first I was questioning why those who ordered after me were receiving their dishes prior to myself but all my questions were answered once my dishes arrived. My order took about 20 minutes. The beef noodle soup is the best I've had in years. The beef is tender and the broth is rich and flavorful and taste like it's been simmering low and slow for hours. The noodles aren't overdone and have a nice bite to them. It's a hearty soup. I actually felt healthier after eating it. I usually don't eat noodle soup unless the weather is cold but the picture really stood out to me and I'm glad I gave it a try. It's delicious. The dumplings are a nice size! Definitely 2 biters. The soy dipping sauce has a nice hint of garlic and goes well with the pork. It was very fresh and hot and the wonton skin wasn't too thick. It was bursting with meat and made me full. 10 dumplings for 8.50 or 20 for 16. These dumplings remind me of some dimsum I had in Chicago and we all know Chicago has amazing food so to place these 2 dumplings side by side is a compliment. Why isn't this place more popular? Why aren't people lining up to order dumplings and soup? Perhaps this place is underrated. Or, maybe people walk by and are confused about the menu since it seems to offer cuisine from one end to the other. There's not really a sense of direction when you review the menu. On one side you can order a black bean burger and pizza then there's Asian food. It can confuse some people. I can't speak for the American dishes here but the authentic Asian dishes is where it's at and if there menu was solely dedicated to Asian cuisine I think they would be a force to be reckoned with because they do Asian food well here. Get rid of the crappy half assed burgers that aren't even served on burger buns (it's on toast) and pizza items and highlight what you do best- Asian food.

This was seriously the best find of our trip! I was so excited to find a locally owned restaurant that offered numerous vegan options in Waikiki that was walking distance from our hotel. We actually popped in here TWICE because of the freshness and ease of ordering for me. The first day, I ordered the "chickenless salad", and the second day I enjoyed the "totally vegan plate". I was completely shocked at the flavor with the chili. My boyfriend orders the smoked salmon salad the first trip, and the garlic shrimp plate the second. His only complaint was that the shells were still on the shrimp (some legs included), which made for a messy meal, but was quite entertaining to watch. Bathrooms are typical for the area - and are shared with the hotel next door. I didn't bother to scope them out, as all building shared bathrooms tend to be the same and a little shady. ;) Amazing food, great customer service and I highly recommend to anyone in the area vegan, vegetarian, or just plain foodie.

At first we were going just choose a different place to eat since the appearance wasn't very appealing. However, there was the Braised Beef Noodle Soup. My wife and I are Queens New Yorkers that's been feeling home sick with some good ol'Chinese food. We gave it a try and man it was just how it should've been. Soft noodles and delicious soup. 5 star for the food just needed to make the appearance more appealing. With that being said will be returning within our trip.

After a few days of eating to my hearts desire, I figured try a healthier alternative. I had the veggie sandwich and it was actually pretty good (but they added cheese so its wasn't technically vegan). My husband got the ahi tuna bowl and he said it was just ok, nothing special. Comes with a miso soup.
